The Swingin' Blue Stars is a group of talented singers from the East SF Bay area. They perform close harmony, swing style music made popular by 1940’s and 50’s female vocal groups such as the Andrews Sisters. They sing and dance to “people-pleasing” music, mixing saucy and romantic WWII tunes that appeal to a variety of audiences, whether young or elderly. Enjoy a performance from the 25th Infantry Division Army Band on the Lanai at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. The U.S. Army 25th Infantry Division Chamber Winds is a small ensemble that performs at ceremonies and small social gatherings across the island of Oahu. This group is made up of soldier musicians performing on flute, clarinet, trumpet, french horn, euphonium, tuba, and drums. You can expect to hear different musical genres from military marches to big band jazz.

Blackened Canteen Ceremony

USS UTAH Memorial Sunset Ceremony

The USS Utah Memorial Sunset Ceremony honors the loss of the USS Utah (AG-16) and 58 of her crew. The USS Utah was the first ship torpedoed in the attack on the Pacific Fleet. Struck by two torpedoes, the ship capsized and sank within 12 minutes. Ceremony is open to those possessing access with valid military, DoD, or DOI ID and their sponsored guests. USS OKLAHOMA Memorial Ceremony

This ceremony honors and commemorates the loss of the USS Oklahoma (BB-37) and 429 its crew. The USS Oklahoma was moored along Battleship Row and was hit by as many as 8 to 12 torpedoes during the attack. The ship’s portside was opened up by the salvo of torpedoes.
